New Student Registration

New Student Enrollment

The registration and enrollment process for new students is started online through Jordan School District’s online student enrollment portal called "Skyward Family Access".  To enroll your student(s), please complete the following steps:

STEP ONE: COMPLETE THE ONLINE ENROLLMENT

If this will be your first time enrolling a student in the Jordan School District, click here create a temporary Skyward Family Access account: Temporary Account for New Student.

If you already have a Jordan Skyward Family Access Account you can login to that account to complete the registration here: New Student Enrollment.

***Documents (birth certificate, immunizations, and proof of residency) are now uploaded online through the skyward portal

STEP TWO:  BRING PARENT ID TO SCHOOL 

To complete the enrollment for your student(s), a parent must come to the office and show their ID (Driver’s License or Passport) after completing the online registration.  Our office hours are 8:10am – 3:30pm.

El proceso deinscripción se inicia en línea a través del portal de inscripción de estudiantes en línea del Distrito Escolar de Jordan llamado “Skyward Family Access”. Para inscribir a su(s) estudiante(s), complete los siguientes pasos:

PASO UNO: COMPLETAR LA INSCRIPCIÓN EN LÍNEA

Si esta será la primera vez que inscribe a un estudiante en el Distrito Escolar de Jordan, haga clic aquí para crear una cuenta en Skyward Family Access: Cuenta temporal para estudiantes nuevos.

Si ya tiene una cuenta de acceso de Jordan Skyward Family Access, puede iniciar sesión en esa cuenta para completar el registro aquí: Inscripción de estudiantes que ya tienen una cuenta.

 ***Los documentos (acta de nacimiento, vacunas y comprobante de domicilio) ahora se cargan en línea a través del portal skyward.

PASO DOS: TRAER LA IDENTIFICACIÓN DE LOS PADRES A LA ESCUELA 

Para completar la inscripción de su(s) estudiante(s), un padre debe venir a la oficina y mostrarsu identificación (licencia de conducir o pasaporte). Nuestro horario de oficina es de 8:10 am a 3:30 pm.

Returning Students (Yearly Registration)

Before the start of each school year, online registration must be completed to ensure that we have the correct and updated information for your student. Notifications will be sent out through skyward phone/email notifications when the registration is open.

Registration is done through Skyward Family Access using your parent login & password. Online enrollment can only be accessed using the PARENT login and password.

Once you have logged into your Family Access, click on the tab 'Register for School' and choose the student for whom you wish to verify enrollment. This will be done for each of your students at our school.

**Parents using Google Chrome as your browser, please note that if you are  having problems getting beyond steps 7 & 8, you will need to minimize the window after each step, not close it.  The pop-up hides the “next” button. The parent will then be able to complete that step and move to the next step. You can also change the browser and try again.

As part of the registration process, we would encourage every family to complete the free/reduced price lunch application online.

Directions for completing online Free and Reduced Meal Application:

  • Log into Family Access using the parent or guardian's login, not the students.
  • Select Food Service to the left of the screen.
  • On the top left side of the page, select all students and choose a student.
  • On the top, middle of the screen, click the 'applications' link. Then, select  'add application' to start.
  • If you are missing information or something is incorrect, it will say incomplete and will not let you select the submit button.
  • Make sure to select the submit button when you finish.

Virtual School

Pre-registration at Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary School will be posted yearly in the Spring- Summer for the following school year. However, because you will be un-enrolling your students from their current boundary elementary school and enrolling them in the Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary School, it is important to complete your registration form as soon as possible. This will allow both schools to make informed decisions about the number of teachers for each school. Final registration will need to be completed by August of the year before  you commit to Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary School for the school year.
